Head of International Marketing at DigiPlex shortlisted for the ‘Woman of the Year’ award
The Women in Tech Excellence Awards, run by leading industry magazine Computing, recognise top-performing women from across the sector and provide inspiration for women looking to build a career in the industry.
Tracey Pewtner, Head of International Marketing at DigiPlex, has been shortlisted for the ‘Woman of the Year’ award which goes to the individual most deserving of recognition for inspiring others, and delivering significant success and change in her organisation. Tracey is recognized for her role in leading the development and execution of the DigiPlex "Sustainability at the Core" campaign which has transformed our brand performance and the support she’s provided to DigiPlex staff during the COVID-19 crisis.
Tracey is known across the DigiPlex organisation as a dynamo who gets things done, but also someone who cares deeply about her colleagues. This has been underlined in the recent pandemic as Tracey immediately stepped in to help maintain the DigiPlex culture and the mental wellness of all staff. Over the past months she has created and led initiatives to engage staff working at home including: virtual walks to encourage exercise and reduce isolation, regular competitions to promote interaction and remind people to have fun plus ‘Beer and Boogie’ evenings to maintain after-work socializing.
Chief Strategy/Marketing and Communications Officer Fredrik Jansson commented: “Tracey deserves this award as recognition of her tireless commitment to DigiPlex and its people. She has a massive impact at DigiPlex and beyond and I am personally very pleased that her enormous contribution to DigiPlex and to the profile of women in tech has been recognised with this shortlisting. I have no doubt that she will go on to win the award. Best of luck Tracey!”
Tracey Pewtner commented: “I’m truly honoured by this nomination and to be recognised alongside such high-profile industry women. But of course, we don’t achieve greatness alone, it’s a team effort so this award is for the entire female team at DigiPlex. Let’s rock this ladies!”
