DigiPlex contributes at Arendalsuka
DigiPlex took an active part at Arendalsuka, Norway’s largest annual political gathering. This year the event spanned from 12-17 August and boasted 1,200 events and 70,000 visitors.
On Tuesday, DigiPlex CEO Gisle M. Eckhoff participated in the panel debate «Dead or Digital Districts» organised by trade and employers association Abelia, an association of Norwegian knowledge and technology based enterprises. "Norway has plenty of fantastic engineering competence in traditional industries across the country that may be utilised in the digital sector", said Eckhoff. He believes that digitilisation has the potential to generate a large number of jobs in regional Norway.
