The security objective for any data center should be to deter, detect and delay unauthorized access to the data center by choosing a location, design and routine that ensures a high level of security.
Weak security can put your business, staff, customers and partners at risk as your data can be destroyed, compromised or stolen. This could in turn result in severe reputational damage and potentially in heavy fines.
Location is the key
The starting point for data centre security and risk minimisation is location. Safe, secure, minimum risk and accessibility are top of the list of priorities.
DigiPlex Data Center Security
Security is core to our operation. We use advanced security equipment, techniques and procedures to control and monitor access to our Nordic data centers.
The specific security arrangements at each DigiPlex site may vary, but each site will have a multi layered integrated security system that will feature a combination of physical, technical or manned measures. The site’s integrated security arrangements may consist of some or all the security arrangements below:-
- Advanced access control systems for suites, cages and racks
- Security rated man traps and car traps
- High-grade perimeter fencing
- Camera surveillance
- Sensor surveillance
- Customer unique arrangements
- 24/7 security staff on site
Our facilities offer access-controlled racks, cages and halls, and additional security layers can be added on request. We ensure that only staff cleared by you has access to your areas, and all access is monitored by the specialist security team.
DigiPlex operational security assures the permanent uptime of customer equipment. This means uninterruptible power supplies and constantly controlled data hall environments. DigiPlex process and procedures are fully documented and externally audited.
